The Girl Effect = completely sexist. Buuut..

But that's ok. They have the best combination a capital "G" + Arrow that I've seen to date. Often the execution of this combo looks too easy and not quite finished. But the designer got the 'right' stroke weight and proportions between the arrowhead and the stress (left curve) of the "G". I think it helps too that the arrowhead is filled and not left open? Works really well. Props to whoever designed this.

Unofficial Bed Bath & Beyond Logo

Finally got around to redesigning the unofficial Bed Bath & Beyond logo. Found my favorite (the softest) set of sheets there once and stocked up! The font is fine, but the skewed letters in "BEYOND" make the logo look cheap. Not only that, but every time I see their logo it makes me twitch. So I had to get this out of my system. I used a very similar font to help maintain their brand somewhat.
